In 2012, Susan and Kelli Cureton-Hill purchased a home in the Indian Canyons neighborhood, where Susan’s passion for midcentury design and architecture led her to volunteer with Modernism Week. Recognizing the opportunity to showcase the neighborhood’s architectural heritage while raising funds for community improvements, Susan spearheaded the effort to add Indian Canyons to the 2015 Modernism Week tour lineup. The inaugural tour was a sellout success, quickly becoming a favorite among attendees.

Now, a decade later, Indian Canyons is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a highlight of Modernism Week’s 20th anniversary in 2025. On Saturday, February 22, more than 500 guests will have the opportunity to explore eight stunning midcentury homes, carefully selected for their architectural significance, beautifully designed interiors, and lush landscaping.

“Each year, this tour highlights the finest examples of iconic homes designed by the region’s most renowned architects. This neighborhood tour perfectly captures the distinctive charm and architectural brilliance that makes Palm Springs so unique.”
Evelyn Yardley, Modernism Week Neighborhood Tours Coordinator

The Modernism Week tour serves as the principal fundraiser for the Indian Canyons Neighborhood Organization (ICNO), with proceeds supporting neighborhood enhancement projects and local charities in the Coachella Valley.
Tickets are $130 per person. Explore eight stunning midcentury homes in South Palm Springs during this milestone event on February 22, 2025.
