The inner beast was released! From fierce animal prints and large graphic kittens, to matchy-matchy pattern on pattern swag, the intensity was real. The moment I scanned my wrist band and entered the festival grounds, I was bombarded by awesomely patterned vintage shirts that evoked the best grandma couch vibes imaginable, then outta nowhere kitty-zilla started appearing. Not sure how the giant cat face emoji trend began but I quickly became obsessed. Not nearly as obsessed as I am with The Haim sisters; who rocked out in zebra/cheetah hybrids on stage and slithered around the Artist Area in faux snake skin ensembles. As a disclosure (unlike Fox News) these ladies were by far my favorite performance and I would argue they could wear anything (or nothing) and I wouldn’t notice because they are TALENTED AF. Equally as talented are all the party-goers, who let their inner-dawgs out by embracing bold patterns and animal motifs. So if you paid a PETA membership or not, you can still be wild and your style can still ROAR!!!!!
