“There are so many threads in this tapestry we could go on forever,” exclaims Paul Andrews. Paul and Victoria GeVoian are the weavers/creators of Contact In The Desert, which is the largest UFO festival in the galaxy. For CITD’s 6th anniversary (June 1st-4th) they’ve teleported from the alien landscape of Joshua Tree to the ancient dwellings of Indian Wells, where the modern luxuries of The Renaissance Resort & Spa play home-base to the largest group of UFO experts, Contactees and renowned extraterrestrial researchers ever assembled. There’s celebrity lectures (including one hosted by Giorgio A. Tsoukalos whose considered to be the real life Indiana Jones), an intimate luncheon with syndicated radio host George Noory (literally MILLIONS tune in for him) and stellar road-trips to magical places like the “cell rejuvenating” Integratron and the legendary landing pad known as Giant Rock. Contact has cultivated a dual-atmosphere that allows you to be the witness and explorer. Paul took some time with Coachella Magazine to explain why JFK was really assassinated, to explain the mysteries of good vibrations and to tell us why he would want aliens to watch History Channel.
Read on for an excerpt from our dialogue with Paul Andrews:
JevPic: If you were to run into your alien “homies” again what would you offer as a peace offering?
Paul Andrews: I’d bring a piece of culture; such as ancient Hindu chants. There’s a long history of interactions with Hindu cultures and the alien phenomenon and there’s a certain form of commonality in music. These chants have been handed down to us from ancient cultures not necessarily of this planet and they’ve been retained and maintained by native cultures; this tradition continues to this very day. So I believe it would be a form of commonality we could share everywhere with any-being because chants and music are truly universal.
JevPic: Is that where the term good vibes comes from?
Andrews: The ancient civilizations felt that there’s a relationship between sound and consciousness. Many believe that’s how they moved the megalithic stones and that hitting the right frequency would create a vibration where anything was possible. So I think that the relationship between sound and vibrations and electro magnetic activity and frequency has had an affect on human consciousness and continues too.
JevPic: Speaking of frequency what show would you have “them” binge watch?
Andrews: I’d want them to watch this show on History Channel called “Ancient Aliens.” The host is a gentleman (and guest lecturer this year) named Giorgio A. Tsoukalos who goes all over the world studying ancient anomalies. So if there was a higher intelligence that had more information then us, I’d show them the documentaries and I’d ask them about these structures, the creation of humans and about the history of the earth.
JevPic: What’s one of the most alien things on the planet?
Andrews: Ancient sites, many continue to have a living presence on our culture. The 3,000 ft. shafts found in South Africa, the pyramids, the Sphinx and other artifacts left all over the world that couldn’t have possibly been put together by primitive cultures alone.
JevPic: What’s some books you just finished reading?
Andrews: I would suggest Yvonne Smith’s Chosen: Recollections of UFO Abductions Through Hypnotherapy and Dr. Michael Salla’s books; Kennedy’s Last Stand and Insiders Reveal Secret Space Programs and Extraterrestrial Alliances. Both authors will also be lecturing on the subject.
JevPic: Did you say Kennedy?
Andrews: Before JFK was a politician he was an aid that became chief of staff for James Forrestal, who was the head of the Navy and the first Secretary of Defense. All information from downed crafts were fed through the Navy at that time and Kennedy was present in most of those top secret briefings. When he become a politician he flirted with the idea of full disclosure and when he finally decided he would tell the truth, he was assassinated.
JevPic: What’s the scoop on the Secret Space Program?
Andrews: It’s a hot topic in our field. The thesis is that the government’s been running a secret space program since around WW2 and that colonization has already begun in two places; our moon and Mars using super sonic planes not rockets.
JevPic: Which would you rather live on the moon or Mars?
Andrews: Mars, it has an atmosphere.
JevPic: Back to super sonic planes, tell me more.
Andrews: Think of a differently designed airplane that flies high and achieves speeds that allows it to bounce along the top of the ionosphere until it eludes Earth’s gravity and the atmosphere, gliding into space.
JevPic: It’s so cool, why is it so secret?
Andrews: I think one of the things that drives that secrecy is because the US wants to protect technology collected from competitors like Russia and China. The US government is immediately present to methodically collect technology from downed crafts so they can reverse engineer it and apply it to our present day technology like our power grid.
JevPic: Why are some chosen and some not?
Andrews: I believe there are certain genetic characteristics that they’re interested in and it follows familiar lines; either matrilineal or patrilineal. And these types of abductions seems to go from generation to generation in the same family. And they are studied for several generations and they can do this because their concept of time is so much different than ours. So to follow 17 generations of family is nothing to them.
JevPic: Do you wish you could take your “contact” back?
Andrews: Well. That’s a good question. Umm, I’d have to say, yes. I’d have to say yes. At the time it didn’t frighten me, but as I look back at it, it was a very peculiar encounter and it was traumatic you know and I’m trying to lead a normal life and when you have that type of trauma young in life (four years-old at the time) it stays with you and every once in a while it’ll come to the surface, a feeling empowering and sometimes it feels the opposite. I guess if I’d have it to do over again, I wouldn’t, that’s just me personally.
JevPic: Why do some remember and some don’t?
Andrews: There’s a wide spread conscious effort of most species of aliens to have you forget. From interviews I’ve conducted there’s a consistent pattern of most people having a hard time remembering “it” at first blush. Perhaps it’s like any blocked traumatic experience from childhood, except abduction victims, if you will, have gone through a “forgetfulness” hypnotic procedure that encourages them to forget everything they have experienced by the extraterrestrials. But on some people that hypnotic process doesn’t work and they remember what happened to them with clarity and immediately.
JevPic: Did you say most species of aliens? How many species are there?
Andrews: From complied evidence and documented accounts there are alleged to be around 13 species. Most are only curious.
JevPic: TMI, what do you want to linger with attendees of Contact In the Desert?
Andrews: Well, that we are not alone, we have been visited by ancient aliens for hundreds of thousands of years and aliens interact with us as a species, nation, state and government to a much deeper extent than anyone realizes.
Most people coming to our show aren’t looking for spiritual enlightenment or a guru, they really just want the truth. Especially those who have had contact, interactions or sightings. They want to know where’s the context and why isn’t anybody that knows more than us telling the truth.
They say, “the government can’t keep a secret” that’s not really true. They can keep a secret and they have for quite some time.”
