Lakers Return for 2025-26 Preseason

Start

The Los Angeles Lakers are making their way back to the Coachella Valley this fall, bringing the star power and excitement of NBA basketball to the desert for the third consecutive year. As part of their 2025-26 preseason schedule, presented by Delta Air Lines, the Lakers will tip off their campaign with a highly anticipated matchup against the Phoenix Suns at Acrisure Arena on Friday, October 3. This home game is presented by Spotlight 29 Casino.

The desert showdown continues a growing tradition for the iconic franchise, following two straight years of sold-out appearances in the region. The Coachella Valley holds a special place in Lakers history, once serving as a training ground during the Showtime era. In 2023, the Lakers reignited that connection after a 26-year absence with a sold-out preseason return to the valley, reintroducing local fans to the Purple and Gold experience up close.

The October 3 matchup kicks off a four-game home slate for the Lakers that will span from October 3–17 and include games in Coachella Valley, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Fans can also look forward to a marquee clash with the Dallas Mavericks at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on October 15, as well as two matchups at Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A., where the team will face off against the Golden State Warriors (October 12) and Sacramento Kings (October 17).

Tickets for the October 3 game at Acrisure Arena go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. PT and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or in person at the Acrisure Arena Ticketmaster Box Office. This game is expected to sell quickly as fans from across Southern California and beyond flock to the desert to see the Lakers in action.

Spectrum SportsNet will air all Lakers preseason games as it enters its 14th season as the team’s exclusive regional broadcast partner. Fans can also catch the action on 710 AM ESPNLA and in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM.
