With just 100 days to go until the world’s biggest sporting event kicks off, the official tournament poster for the FIFA World Cup 2026 has been unveiled, celebrating the global spirit, excitement, and unity that define the iconic competition.
The colorful artwork features a collage-style composition centered around a footballer, symbolizing the sport’s power to bring people together across cultures and continents. The design serves as the final piece in the tournament’s poster collection, complementing the 16 Official Host City Posters released last year for each participating city.
For the first time in tournament history, three artists collaborated on the official poster: Canadian illustrator Carson Ting, Mexican artist Minerva GM, and American conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas. Blending their distinct creative styles, the trio created a design that highlights the themes of connection, diversity, and unity that will shape the 2026 tournament.
“In 100 days, FIFA will welcome the world to North America to witness the greatest show on earth,” said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA. “The Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Tournament Poster captures the energy, diversity, and shared passion that will define the most inclusive edition of the tournament in history.”
The upcoming competition will also make history as the largest tournament ever, expanding to 48 teams. So far, 42 nations have secured qualification, including four debutants: Cabo Verde, Curaçao, Jordan, and Uzbekistan. The remaining six spots will be decided through upcoming playoff matches scheduled during the March international window.
Fans hoping to attend matches can look forward to the Last-Minute Sales phase for tickets opening in April, when remaining inventory will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Hospitality packages that include match tickets and premium experiences are already available through FIFA’s official hospitality program.
The 2026 tournament will be hosted across North America, with matches taking place in cities throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada, promising a summer of football that will unite billions of fans around the globe.
