“Coachella Valley Art Scene was basically a passion project that I started when I was 25 years old and I had come back to the Coachella Valley after college. I didn’t have a job or money — all I had was Wi-Fi and a computer. So, I just created a blog based on a topic I was interested in which was local and emerging talent from here in the Coachella Valley…and through hard work I was able to do it. And that was 10 years ago.”
“It’s a way for people to connect more than just at a concert and everyone’s like looking at the stage and you’re in your own world. The crafts is kind of like the opposite experience where you have to interact and engage and create…so it seems to be just really compatible with what they have going on.”
