At-Home Mai Tai
Can’t make it out for Mai Tai Day? Tommy Bahama also shared its take on the classic tiki cocktail, layering rum with fresh lime, orange curaçao, and nutty orgeat, then finishing it with a dark-rum float.
Classic Mai Tai
Serves 1
- 1½ oz. Flor de Caña Extra Seco 4 Rum
1 oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. orange curaçao
¾ oz. orgeat syrup
¾ oz. dark rum
Orchid, for garnish
Shake the first four ingredients with ice, then pour over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Float the dark rum on top and garnish with an orchid.
