Just in time for 2025, Maleza, located at Drift Palm Springs, is launching a new monthly Desert Dinner Series featuring a unique themed menu, beverage partner and local community partner. Each dining experience will include a masterfully crafted prix fixe menu inspired by the flavors of the beverage partner, as well as a chance to meet the makers behind the featured spirit.
The first event in this seasonal, monthly series features the bold wines of Baja, with Chef Ysaac Ramirez crafting a 3-course, family-style feast that highlights the region’s rich culinary traditions. The meal will be paired with 3 exceptional wines from the Cesars Valle de Guadalupe portfolio. Sip a welcome drink, mingle under the stars, and hear from winemaker Cesar Reyes of CeAcatl Wines and Chris White of Palm Springs Bottle Shop as they share their expertise and insights into Baja’s renowned vineyards. Surrounded by towering cacti and the breathtaking San Jacinto Mountains, this will be a truly unforgettable dining experience.

On Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m., the series will kick off with the Wines of Baja dinner, in partnership with the Palm Springs Bottle Shop. Guests will enjoy a 3-course dinner with 3 wine pairings, a welcome drink and the opportunity to meet the wine maker.
The full dinner series schedule includes:
- Movie-inspired mezcal dinner in honor of Modernism Week with Amaras on February 26
- Luau and beer pairing dinner with Las Palmas Brewing on March 26
- Mexican BBQ-inspired dinner paired with tequila tastings from El Tesoro on April 30
- Summer-inspired dinner paired with cocktails from Casa Lumbre, Real De Valle and Verde Memento on May 21
