The Palm Springs 70MM Fest, presented by MUBI, is bringing legendary films to the big screen. Taking place the weekend of March 22 & 23 at the Palm Springs Cultural Center’s Historic Camelot Theatre, this special two-day event will showcase classic films in breathtaking 70mm. The 14th Annual American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs) returns to the Palm Springs Cultural Center from March 27-31, 2025, showcasing 240 films from around the world. This year’s festival, presented by the Supple Foundation, highlights themes including human rights, social justice, women’s rights, the environment, and more.

Palm Springs ShortFest 2025 is set to take over the Festival Theaters from June 24–30, showcasing a mix of bold, creative, and independent short films from around the world. Recognized as one of North America’s largest showcases of short-form cinema, ShortFest is an Academy Award-, BAFTA-, and Goya-qualifying festival that screens over 300 shorts from 60+ countries. From animation and comedy to drama and documentary, the lineup is as diverse as it is daring. Beyond the screen, ShortFest is a creative hub where filmmakers and industry leaders converge to connect, collaborate, and inspire.
