Desert Hot Springs is ushering in a bold new era of public art, redefining the city’s visual landscape. Curated by Known Gallery’s Casey Zoltan, this ambitious initiative features 13 large-scale murals, transforming downtown into an open-air gallery that celebrates creativity, culture, and community.
To mark this milestone, Known Projects will present “re•vi•tal•ize”, an exclusive exhibition showcasing original works by the 13 artists behind the mural series. Hosted at Known Projects in Downtown Desert Hot Springs, the show will run during both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (April 12-14 & April 18-21, 2025), offering an immersive experience at the intersection of fine art, music, and street culture.
Casey Zoltan & the Vision of Known Projects
Curator, artist, and cultural leader Casey Zoltan has been a driving force in the contemporary street art movement. As the founder of Known Gallery, he has played a pivotal role in elevating graffiti and street art into mainstream contemporary spaces. With deep roots in legendary graffiti crews AWR, MSK, and The Seventh Letter, Zoltan has built a platform that showcases some of the most influential artists of our time while fostering a community-driven approach to creativity.
Originally established in Los Angeles, Known Gallery became synonymous with innovation and authenticity, blending fine art with street culture. Today, that impact continues with Known Projects in Desert Hot Springs, where Zoltan is shaping the city’s cultural identity through groundbreaking exhibitions and public art initiatives.

Each of the 13 artists who contributed to the downtown revitalization mural project will present an original canvas reflecting their experience creating their murals. These works will be exhibited at Known Projects, located at 66435 Pierson Blvd., Downtown Desert Hot Springs.
