Studio B, the Coachella Valley’s newest premier recording and mixing facility, is set to open its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM in partnership with the City of Indio. The event, taking place at 45250 Smurr Street, Suite 13, Indio, CA, will offer studio tours showcasing its cutting-edge Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology.
As the only Dolby Atmos-focused studio in the region, Studio B aims to be a go-to destination for high-end audio mixing and production, complementing existing local facilities by offering Dolby Atmos upgrades for new and existing projects. The 600-square-foot space is equipped for a variety of music, film, and television projects.
Studio B is helmed by Ron Mesh, a veteran tour manager and audio engineer with over 30 years of industry experience. Mesh, co-owner of The Church Studios in Cathedral City, has worked with legendary artists such as Guns N’ Roses, The Cult, Tower of Power, and Collective Soul. His expertise positions Studio B as a trusted name in high-quality audio production.

The studio features a Genelec 7.1.4 twelve-speaker configuration, allowing for Dolby Atmos mixing across music, video games, film, and television. This spatial audio technology is used in movie theaters, home entertainment systems, gaming consoles, and virtual reality headsets, offering an unparalleled listening experience.
