Founded by Jamie Kabler in 2014, with the vision of creating a premier intellectual event for the Coachella Valley, the festival has earned the moniker “Coachella for the brain.” This milestone is not just a celebration of a decade of literary excellence but a testament to the enduring love for the written word, bringing together writers, readers, and the City of Rancho Mirage in a unique partnership.
As the festival has evolved into a vibrant cultural hub, it continues to fulfill its mission of offering a rich and diverse program. The gathering transcends mere words on paper, exploring topics from politics and history to humor, health, genre, and literary fiction.
