The thing about Agenda Festival held in Long Beach, CA. there’s really no agenda, cause it’s going down all around. Pro-skaters are ollie-ing down isles lined with playful brands like Mokuyobi, Rip N DIP and Slushcult. Insta-famous models are sashaying around for influential photographers as fashion designers are “networking” with editors and bloggers about which celebrities just strolled through and what trends they were dripping in. Turning the corner was like walking into a contemporary art performance where the cast of Workaholics (Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm) no joke, were just sitting at a table goofing off and drinking beer.

Then final remnants of reality disappeared when Mark Gonzales aka “The Gonz” appeared humbly doodling out an autograph. This guy single handedly invented street skating, became Supreme’s first artist and is considered “The Most Influential Skater Of All Time” and is trending in Tokyo for his dope-ass collabs with OG classics like Dickies, Adidas, Champion and JanSport.
Oh there’s more, if you passed the vodka-Mt. Dew (yes, together in one cup) stands and went around indoor skate ramp and held your breath through the 420 Friendly zone you’ll finally get to these giant cargo doors that lead to a grassy field dotted with picnic tables, live art and food trucks bursting with the world’s dankest munchies. All are totally calorie-worthy, especially my personal favs BAE’s Lil Tokyo charcoal ice-cream and Cheezus gilled sandwiches. Looking to the left fans are taking selfies with Joba of Brock Hampton and Yung Lean “The Prince of Sad Boy Rap.” The Dew Tour’s skate village featured top  athletes like Danny Leon, Cory Juneau and Jagger Eaton stylishly show off fancy footwork and an authentic street style. The perfect combo of creativity and adrenaline helped this epic “industry only” trade show morph into one of the West Coast’s favorite “inclusive” cultural events; and empowering rebels to follow their Agenda since 2003.
