A new stage has arrived for Coachella Valley performers looking to share their talents with the community. Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City has launched Agua’s Got Talent, a weekly competition spotlighting local singers, acoustic musicians, and comedians every Wednesday evening through October 9 at Agave Caliente Tequila Bar.
The free event, which began Wednesday, June 24, invites performers and guests ages 21 and older to experience live entertainment while local talent competes for weekly prizes and a chance to advance toward the championship finale.
Each week, one standout performer will be awarded a $250 Agua Caliente Fuel gift card and secure a spot in the semifinal rounds. The competition will culminate with the championship event on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Agave Caliente Terraza, where the grand prize winner will take home $5,000.
“We’re excited to celebrate the incredible talent found right here in our own backyard,” said Jennifer Reese, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. “Agua’s Got Talent invites contestants to perform on stage, share their talent with our guests, and compete for amazing cash prizes.”
Performers do not need to pre-register, and solo acts as well as groups of up to four people are welcome. Eligible performances include singing, acoustic music featuring vocals, and comedy. Acts involving acrobatics, extreme talents, animals, dancing, juggling, magic, illusions, or religious performances will not be accepted.
The weekly competition takes place every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Agave Caliente Tequila Bar. Semifinal rounds will take place on September 23, September 30, and October 7, leading up to the final championship event on October 9.
