I first met Audreyana Arrieta at the Mucho Fashion Show at Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs. She was one of the models sporting the amazing art-meets fashion wardrobe of the talented Sofia Enriquez. Once I was able to grab a couple pictures of Audreyana, the beautifully wrapped pendant on her neck grabbed my attention. Audreyana let me know that she made the necklace herself and automatically — I became a fan.

Later, I was lucky enough to schedule a photo session with her jewelry and handmade crochet tops. I was in awe with how much love she put into her work that I couldn’t help but buy, not one, but two of her necklaces. Lets just say that my life has been much more zen ever since.

Audreyana gives you a sense of comfort when you meet her. Although she is a bit shy at first, her quirky and fun personality shines throughout her work.

Coachella Magazine wanted to dive in a little deeper and ask Audreyana what inspires and motivates her to create art.

Lybys Zambrano: How long have you been making jewelry?
Audreyana Arrieta: I have been creating since 2015 and I was inspired to create my first piece because as a child, I had always collected stones and rocks. I began with fish wire jewelry pieces. Then my art transcended with my mind, body and spirit.

Lybys: Do you enjoy any other art forms?
Audreyana: I enjoy drawing, minimalistic expressionism. I experiment with spray paint on canvas, wired wall accents, wire sculptures and gemstone wall art.

Lybys: What drives your inspiration?
Audreyana: I am inspired by nature and love. Nature takes many shapes as we do and the love, that is the foundation. I freestyle many of my jewelry pieces, they are organically created as all elements and nature is.

Lybys: You just launched your first website! Can you tell us a little bit about it and what you sell and or offer?
Audreyana: Launching my website, I describe as a metamorphosis, a new chapter and rebirth for my designs and art. My website incorporated a journal/blog giving knowledge in all art forms such as gardening, poems, events and life experiences. I also am an esthetician and hairdresser. I offer services in skin, hair and makeup, as well as selling my jewels and art.

Lybys: Since your focus is crystal wire wrapping, is there any stone in particular that you like working with most?
Audreyana: I enjoy working with quartz because it is a versatile stone of purification, and virtue. It looks beautiful and aids any vessel or spirit.

Lybys: Can you tell us why you chose wire wrapping over all other forms of jewelry making?
Audreyana: I chose wire wrapping because it is so intricate, and metals are conductors of many waves and frequencies that aid in lifting our spirits.

Lybys: If you could do anything in the world with no restrictions what would it be? Would it be doing something artistic or are there other passions of yours that give you inspiration?
Audreyana: I love art but my passion is traveling and connecting/helping people all over the world. I am destined to help my people whether it be through art, health, and wellness. We are not alone in this world, we all ride a wave that inspires and effects everyone around us. I am here to continue that wave and spread my light and experience to everyone and anyone. Love is eternal as our spirit is. So I would love to teach, love and help the world in any form that I am capable of. There are no restrictions, that’s the way I see life.

Lybys: Lastly, what does art mean to you?
Audreyana: Art is love, art is eternal, art is soul.
